One 9V battery instead of two AAs, in a holder on the lid.
Bigger switches
Full-size toggle switches that feel satisfying to flip, with ON and OFF marked on the box.
USB Edison bulbs
Four glass filament bulbs on USB plugs. They pull out and push back in easily, so the audience can swap them with their own hands.

Every box is built by hand, so each one is different from the next — and yours may show small imperfections that come from working the wood by hand.

If the order button leads to a closed page, we already have enough boxes to build to be honest about dates. Write to us and we will put you in the queue and tell you where you stand — no deposit, nothing to pay until it is your turn.
One price, €110, whether the box is on the shelf or still to be built. No countdown, no fake scarcity: the page says how many are ready because the shop knows, and when there are none it says so.
Outside the EU — the United Kingdom, the United States and Canada included — import duties, VAT and customs clearance are charged to you by the courier on delivery. Returns are not accepted outside the EU and the UK.
